Disappearing Posts:
Please take a few seconds to read the rules at the top of this board. If a post disappeared, chances are it was in violation of one of the board rules and had to be removed.  Unfortunately due to busy schedules and large work loads  we are unable to email an explanation or reminder each time a post is deleted, so we ask that you understand and review the rules again, and if you have any questions you're welcome to email me privately at Doneen@candlesupply.com. Thanks everyone! 
No Supplier Shopping: (this means do not ask "where can I buy", "where can I find" or "who carries this")
Please remember that this board is to be used for discussing Bitter Creek products, and we would appreciate it if the board not be used to ask where to find other suppliers or where to buy products we don't carry. Since this is our company board, naturally we would appreciate people not directing our customers to our competitors  If you're looking for a product we do not carry, email us and suggest it! Then in the meanwhile, do a web search on Google for an alternate source.
Posting Photos:
The purpose of the BC Product Showcase is for our customers to show pics of the creations they make using the products we carry at BC. It is ok to post pics of candle or bath related items you've made that may contain a few ingredients we don't carry also... just as long as the majority of the product was made using our supplies and the main focus of the photo showcases those. This way our other members can be inspired with ideas on how to use our products in creative ways  Please list the BC supplies you used in the product with the photo so others can see which items they might need to try creating one too! Please do not ask posters "where did you buy that"... if you see a component that we don't carry, just do a Google search for it on your own. Thank you!
No Recruiting:
This board is not to be used as recruiting grounds for other boards or groups, whether supplier owned or privately owned! We've spent years and worked hard to build our own community and our own customer base, so please respect that and don't use ours to build yours from. Members found to be scouring our board and emailing our members to promote or recruit members for other boards or groups may lose their membership here.

No "you have mail" posts:
Please do not use this board to post "you have email" or "I'll email you" etc. This board is for sharing info with everyone here If you've privately emailed someone, there is no need to post and announce that here. If someone asks where to buy something (which they shouldn't be asking as it's against the rules) please do not respond, even to say "I'll email you". That just draws attention and makes everyone else say "email me too", and we'd really appreciate our company's board not being used as a way to discuss or share information on our competitors. If you feel you must share this info with another one of our customers, then please show us the courtesy of doing it in private and not advertising it on our board.
*Exceptions to the "email" rule would be in off-topic threads where non supplier or non candle/soap related info is being offered that isn't appropriate to post. Thank You!
Posting in the right place:
Fragrance related posts often get moved over to the "BC Scent Reviews & Mixing Ideas" section of the board, so remember to check there if you can't find your post! Wicking questions go on the "Which Wicks" board, business related questions go on the "Business" board, etc. I spend a lot of time moving posts to the right forum. So please try to remember to post in the right forum, this will save me a lot of time on board maintenance, thanks 
Subject Lines:
I also have a couple other requests. These are things that will help keep this board running smoothly and make it an even more productive and useful place for people to learn. When posting, please do not use generic, non descript subject lines like “HELP” or “Need info” etc. Please state what the post is about in the subject line. This helps people know whether they want to read that one or skip over it, and it will save everyone time. Plus when you want to find a post again it’s easier when the subject line describes the actual subject. It will also help you get more replies to your post 
Posting to Doneen:
It's best not to address posts to me personally by putting “Doneen” (or Doreen, lol) in the subject line. If you have a direct question for me, please email it to me. If it's an order or a stock or customer service question, please contact our office. But if it’s a general candle/soap question that other members may be able to answer, please put the real subject in the subject line so others will read it and have the opportunity to answer too.
Posting to the BC Staff:
If you have questions for the staff, it’s best to email the office directly too instead of posting it here. They get busy during the day and don’t always see all of the posts, so if you email or call them you will be sure to get a response. Plus this will save room for other posts on the board.
Posting Copyrighted Materials:
Please do not copy & paste material off other websites to post here without that website owner's permission. Material on websites is protected under copyright laws and may not be reproduced without the owner/author's consent. Posting any content from sites owned by other supply companies is not permissible under any circumstances. Thanks for your respecting peoples copyrights
Moderating:
This board is moderated by BC employees as well as some volunteers. If you see something posted on this board that you think is against our rules or is inappropriate, please contact us! We appreciate the help as it's impossible for us to monitor 24 hours a day, or to read every single post as it's a very active board. Rather than responding to the poster yourself, please contact us instead and let us handle it privately so as to save everyone any discomfort or embarrassment.
Chat Room Rules:
Our chat room is a recent addition to this board, for BC board members & customers only. Please follow the same board rules when using our chat room. We pay an additional fee each month for this added feature for your enjoyment, so we just ask that you respect our home on the web and not use it to discuss other companies or share links to other suppliers. We will appreciate this courtesy.
